JOHANNESBURG - COP28 deliberations have been underway for the last few days. Important conversations and pledges have been made for nations around the world to meet the 2050 zero emissions goal.

The Netherlands has committed to contribute over 300-million-rands to a new fund to assist countries devastated by climate change. This, in addition to the country's existing annual contribution of over 36-billion-rands to financing for developing countries.
