COP28 Summit | Countries agree on net-zero emissions by 2050

JOHANNESBURG - More than 20 countries are calling for the tripling of world nuclear energy capacity at the UN Climate summit, in Dubai. This as efforts to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 continue.

Deloitte Africa is attending the talks. In a recent report focused on the Green Energy Transition, Deloitte found that new cost-reducing finance instruments can help de-risk green projects in developing economies.

Mark Victor, who is the Sustainability and Climate Leader from Deloitte Africa says collaboration of countries is critical to make sure that the set goal is met.
