JOHANNESBURG - While the world celebrated International Day for Decent Work, Cosatu protested outside Tembisa Hospital.
It called for an end to retrenchments, high unemployment, and the rising cost of living.
Those calls are seemingly being heeded, with the SIU now gunning for corruption-accused individuals who allegedly misappropriated billions meant for public healthcare.
Cosatu wants the SIU to go even further than seizing ill-gotten assets, to ensure that looters are prosecuted and imprisoned.
