Cost of living crisis | 'South Africans struggling to make ends meet'

JOHANNESBURG - South Africans spend more than a third of their earnings on food and rising prices have a substantial impact on their finances according to the FinScope Consumer South Africa 2023 poll.

Almost 85-percent of total monthly revenue is spent on groceries, electricity, transportation, and communication.
