Police Minister Bheki Cele on Saturday attended the funeral of slain Bloemfontein teenager, Machaka Radebe.
She went missing last Saturday, and was found two days later, raped and murdered.
The Minister seems to surface whenever a GBV story catches the public's attention.
But is this helping to curb the scourge?
