JOHANNESBURG - Today is the last day for spaza shop registrations.
And, this time the government says there will be no extensions.
The deadline was extended as the President's 21-day window was closing.
He announced the registration drive as part of efforts to deal with children dying of suspected food poisoning.
Some owners say the registration process is arduous and the deadline is unjust.
