DA challenges Hlophe JSC seat in court

CAPE TOWN - The DA is challenging John Hlophe's designation to the Judicial Service Commission in court.

It will be heard in the Western Cape High Court where Hlophe was Judge President before his impeachment.

The DA contends his election to serve on a body that found him guilty of gross misconduct is irrational.

Hlophe is the MK party leader in Parliament and was selected to represent it on the commission.
