Direct marketing | Regulator cracks whip on spam company

JOHANNESBURG - Are you frustrated with direct marketing calls?

Well, the Information Regulator has slammed the phone on direct marketers.

It's issued its first Enforcement Notice against spammer, FT Rams Consulting.

It found it had contravened various parts of the Protection of Personal Information Act.
