JOHANNESBURG - South Africa and the African continent find themselves under immense pressure after the announcement of 30% tariffs by the US President Donald Trump.

This follows what could be described as strained relations as a result of Trump's views on SA land policy, among other things.

An academic group from Henley Business School Africa thinks the African Continental Free Trade Area carries a lot of weight.
