CAPE TOWN - Several construction sites in the Western Cape have been closed by the Labour Department following an inspection blitz conducted last week.

More than 100 construction sites were visited by the department, after the collapse of a building in George that claimed more 30 lives.  

 Provincial Chief Inspector with the Department of Labour, spoke to eNCA.
