Discussion | Gr 9 national certificate to be rolled out next year

JOHANNESBURG - Build One SA leader Mmusi Maimane has described the Grade 9 national certificate -- which is planned to be implemented next year -- as reminiscent of Bantu education.

Maimane says the move will heavily impact poor communities.

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga announced that the Grade 9 certificate is back on the agenda.
