JOHANNESBURG - After losing his job in 2023, Milton Sepeng took the initiative to manufacture his own gym weights.
What makes his weights so distinctive is his use of plastic waste used to patch potholes.

Sepeng also uses a wood fire and manual tools to create his weights.
He says he needs funds in order to proceed and improve the quality of his future output.
Sepeng says this would greatly aid him in creating more reasonably priced products.
