Discussion | IPID investigates Metro cop killing

JOHANNESBURG - A Joburg Metro Police officer was killed during a shootout with members of the SAPS in Soweto last Saturday.

It's alleged that the deceased's son was sought by police for reckless driving before his Metro Police mother got involved.

Phaladi Shuping is the spokesperson for the Independent Police Investigative Directorate.
