JOHANNESBURG - The unemployment rate has climbed to 32.9 percent in the first quarter, with almost 300 000 jobs lost.
Youth unemployment is particularly worrying at 46.1 percent.
However, young black women face an ever tougher battle getting into the job market.
Almost half are not in employment, education or training.
