PRETORIA - The Land Reform and Rural Development Department, has launched an electronic deeds registration system.
The system is being managed through the Chief Registrar of Deeds. It's aimed at modernising land registration by gradually phasing out the manual process.

The electronic system, which became effective on Sunday, aims to reduce the turn around time and curb corruption.
