DURBAN - ANC Deputy President Paul Mashatile has issued a strong warning to Africa’s former liberation movements, calling on them to reflect on whether they still serve the people or if they’ve become mere vehicles for power and privilege.

Speaking at the ANC Liberation Movements Summit in Johannesburg, Mashatile said the time has come for these parties to renew their commitment to justice, transformation, and youth empowerment, warning that failure to do so could render them irrelevant amid rising inequality and shifting global dynamics.
