MBOMBELA - The principal of Magwagwaza Secondary School in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga, has been placed on precautionary suspension following formal allegations of sexual harassment.

The Department of Education says the decision was made to safeguard the best interests of the learners while an investigation is underway.
Mpumalanga Education Spokesperson Gerald Sambo urged parents and community members to report such incidents to ensure accountability.
“Whenever there are such incidents in schools or the community, we request parents to report them. We want to remove educators who act outside the law,” said Sambo.
