CAPE TOWN -The rising use of illegal drugs is mostly among women of a reproductive age.
Most of these women refuse to get help due to the stigma associated with this.
Dr Ronell Williams, a member of the South African Society of Psychiatrists says pregnant women using drugs, tobacco and alcohol need help, not judgment.
"If you are worried about stigma or judgement, then you can also access the mental helath sister at your local clinic," she shared.
