JOHANNESBURG - The interaction between South Africans and the country's public servants is unavoidable.

For many people, it takes place accompanied by high levels of frustration.

But even though they're often criticised, public servants have been crucial in moving the country forward.

What many agree on, is the need to raise the professionalism of this sector in order to improve service delivery.
