JOHANNESBURG - The Reserve Bank has reduced the repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.75 percent.
Making the announcement on Thursday, Governor Lesetja Kganyago said it was a unanimous decision.
While inflation numbers have dropped, Kganyago says the MPC is remaining cautious.
This is due to challenging a global economic environment and uncertain outlook.
