Discussion | SA unemployment rate goes up in first quarter for 2025

JOHANNESBURG - The numbers are hitting South Africa where it hurts – relating to unemployment. 

According to the Quarterly Labour Force Survey released by Stats SA on Tuesday, joblessness has climbed by one percentage point in the first quarter of this year.

That means that unemployment now soars at 32,9%.
