HARARE - Southern African Development Community heads of state have condemned the deadly conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

They held an extraordinary summit in Harare after the region lost soldiers who are there on a peacekeeping mission.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to restoring peace in the DRC, but Rwanda's backing of the M23 rebels troubles them.
