Discussion | Sanco KZN expels Jacob Zuma for consistent absenteeism

JOHANNESBURG - Sanco in KwaZulu-Natal has expelled Jacob Zuma as its chairperson.

The organisation says it took the action after he failed to attend meetings since his election as chair.

Zuma was re-elected into the position in absentia.

The organisation says his failure to show up is considered an absconsion.
