JOHANNESBURG - The Joburg Council Speaker is convening an urgent public meeting with residents affected by the ongoing water crisis.
Residents of Brixton, Sophiatown, Crosby, Westbury, Westdene, Clairmont, Hursthill, and surrounding areas are invited to attend.

Frustration from these outages has led to localised protests, including road blockages.
The council Speaker Nobuhle Mthembu told eNCA the city is currently dealing with aging infrastructure that needs urgent attention.
