JOHANNESBURG - Prasa has appeared before the Standing Committee on Public Accounts.
SCOPA is demanding explanations for the rail agency's decision to spend billions refurbishing trains that are unlikely to ever be operational.
The committee is also questioning the awarding of R18-billion worth of contracts to a company that reportedly failed to meet key requirements.
