JOHANNESBURG - Max Verstappen will lead a 20-driver grid off the line when the lights go out for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Having flown under the radar for much of qualifying, the Dutchman put on the qualifying lap of a lifetime to edge McLaren's Oscar Piastri to pole.
It may not be a Briton on pole but locals will be buoyed by strong top 5 representation.
This as Lando Norris, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton qualified in third, fourth and fifth respectively.
