Electronic Communications Act | Black Entrepreneurs Alliance slams proposed change

JOHANNESBURG - The Black Entrepreneurs Alliance says government's planned lowering of B-BBEE licensing requirements for international satellite service companies is a betrayal of the transformation agenda. 

The Communication and Digital Technologies Department gazetted new regulations which could pave the way for companies like Starlink to operate in South Africa. 

Black Entrepreneurs Alliance's Refilwe Monageng believes this will perpetuate inequality.
