JOHANNESBURG - Forestry, Fisheries and Environment Minister Dion George has tabled his maiden budget.
He wants to finalise all Environmental Impact Assessments for the 2024/25 financial year.
George will also prioritise the implementation of sectoral emission targets and carbon budget allocations.
But those measures have been criticised for being too soft on emitters.
