Epilepsy Week | Experts raise alarm over treatment gaps

CAPE TOWN - February is Epilepsy awareness month, and this year the focus has shifted to addressing gaps identified in the treatment of the brain disorder.

According to the World Health Organization, about 50 million people live with epilepsy across the globe.

Experts are concerned about the disparity between those who need treatment and those who actually receive it.
