JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded its first confirmed case of an antifungal-resistant ringworm infection in KwaZulu-Natal.
The fungus causes extensive disfiguring and is extremely difficult to treat.
Ringworm is transmitted through close contact with people or infected materials.
