ATLANTIS, WC - Western Cape police are investigating the alleged rape of a Grade one pupil at an Atlantis primary school.
According to the child's mother, the 7-year-old was attacked in the school toilets.

The provincial education department says it learnt about the incident the next day, and is offering counselling to the girl and her family.
Community members closed the school on Friday, demanding justice for the youngster.
