CAPE TOWN - Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande has welcomed Stellenbosch University's adoption, of a recommendation for the closure of Wilgenhof residence at the end of 2024.
This was after a panel report revealed disturbing contents linked to institutionalised racism in two rooms of the residence earlier this year.
Veli Mbele, the spokesperson for the Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande, discussed the case with eNCA.
