Home Affairs | Department spending millions on legal battles

PRETORIA - The Home Affairs Department has spent almost half a billion on litigation in the past five years. 

This was revealed by Home Affairs Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, in a written response in parliament.

The department has seen a steady rise in litigation cases initiated by the department and cases where the department is being dragged to court.
