JOHANNESBURG - South African intelligence agencies are probing alarming claims about the presence of illegal Lesotho military bases on local soil.

This follows allegations made earlier this week by Lesotho Police Commissioner Borotho Matsoso, who claimed that rebel armies were being trained on South African farms.
