The jobs emergency | NTI staff run on empty tanks for five months

JOHANNESBURG - The wheels may finally be turning for bus company employees in the North West.

About 1,500 workers at the provincial government's bus service will finally get paid.

North West Transport Investment staff have received no salaries for the past five months.

Trade union, Ya Bashumi, says R96-million has now been set aside to pay workers.
