Tributes are pouring in for legendary musician and playwright Mbongeni Ngema.
The 68-year-old composer and choreographer died in a head-on collision while on his way back from a funeral in the Eastern Cape last night.
Ngema is well-known for his 1992 hit movie Sarafina and hit songs Stimela sase-Zola and Woza My Fohloza.
Speaking to eNCA, award winning film director and playwright Duma Ndlovu says Ngema was too focused on his craft and was not afraid to tell real African stories.
