JOHANNESBURG - The Madlanga Commission of inquiry adjourned, having heard once again how embattled Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, was in constant communication with Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala.

Witness C's testimony supports what Kwazulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, said about Matlala having had a say in the running of the SAPS.
Matlala, an alleged Big 5 cartel member, faces several charges, including the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane.
