Mental health study | People not receiving adequate treatment

JOHANNESBURG - A staggering 92 percent of South Africans with mental health conditions are not receiving the treatment they need.

But the study revealed difficulties, including limited resources, weak management systems, and fragmented collaboration between healthcare providers.

Saira Abdulla, PhD Fellow at the Centre for Health Policy at Wits University, said infrastructure plays a key role.
