More instability in MK Party

JOHANNESBURG - Jacob Zuma’s uMkhonto weSizwe Party has suspended its deputy president, John Hlophe.

The party is embroiled in internal disputes over leadership decisions in Parliament.

Its parliamentary chief whip, Colleen Makhubele, was replaced by Des van Rooyen on Tuesday.

The next day, Jacob Zuma swiftly reinstated Makhubele, suspended his deputy, John Hlophe.
