JOHANNESBURG - Support for the ANC in Johannesburg is declining, and its Deputy Convenor, Simon Motha says the party can no longer ignore it.
Motha says that years of internal conflict, factional battles, and poor service delivery led the ANC's electoral support to plunge by 30 percent in 2021.
His comments come as the ANC's 16th regional conference kicks off, with leaders under pressure to stabilise the organisation ahead of next week’s National General Council.
