JOHANNESBURG - A storm is brewing in the Modimolle-Mookgophong council.
It recommended Charles Malema, the CFO it plans to suspend, be appointed acting municipal manager.
The move has split councillors, with the mayor refusing to sign off on Malema’s appointment.
He's at the heart of the municipality’s controversial R21-million loan from a service provider.
