National Treasury adviser comments on SA's progress on exiting greylist

JOHANNESBURG- South Africa is on the cusp of shaking off its greylist status with the Financial Action Task Force.

The country was added to the list in 2023.

This was due to its lax compliance with international standards for preventing among other things, money laundering and terrorist financing.

South Africa has now tackled all 22 highlighted items.
