JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa is calling for coordinated, urgent action to end inequality.
He's proposed the establishment of a permanent, independent body that monitors inequality trends, identifies drivers, and provides actionable policy advice.
This was after meeting a committee of global experts to begin formally establishing the panel.
One of the members is Professor Imraan Valodia.
