Parliament to be thorough as it investigates Mkhwanazi claims

CAPE TOWN- National Assembly speaker Thoko Didiza has drawn the line.

Explosive claims by KZN Police Commissioner General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi,
accusing the Police Minister of interference, corruption and cover-ups, have rocked the nation.

But Parliament isn’t rushing into a debate just yet.

Didiza says the claims are still unproven and has instead tasked three key committees to look into the matter.

The Justice and Constitutional Development Committee is one of those.
