CAPE TOWN - Over the next three years, parliament's budget will be cut by almost a billion rand. This will impact the business of running the lawmaking institution.

It will also affect the ability to implement the recommendations of the State Capture Commission - as Parliament's oversight committee will not be able to action them without sufficient budget.
