DURBAN - Showbiz icon, Mbongeni Ngema, is being laid to rest in Durban on Friday.
He's been described as an artist through and through and had immense love and respect for his family and supporters.
Ngema died in car accident in the Eastern Cape last week on his way back from attending a funeral.
The '!Sarafina' and 'Stimela SaseZola' creator used his exceptional artistic abilities to draw attention to the atrocities of apartheid.
