Experts say without access to basic menstrual products or clean, private sanitary areas girls are left with few options, which can affect their confidence and mental well-being.

Dr. Ruth Apostolov, founder of She Powher, is leading Africa’s licensed woman-run menstrual cup manufacturing company and pushing for sustainable solutions that are already making a huge impact.
