Pioneering procedure | UP doctors yelping with joy after successful surgery

JOHANNESBURG - A young Rottweiler is leaping with joy after he got a new lease on life after groundbreaking surgery.

Covid (3) severely injured his foot.

The normal course of action would be amputation.

But doctors at the Onderstepoort Veterinary Academic Hospital had a better idea.

They decided to attach an artificial foot in a pioneering procedure.
