Police monitoring hotspots ahead of elections

JOHANNESBURG - The National Joint Operational and Intelligence Structure says it's ready for any eventuality this elections.

Incidents will be reported to the Natjoints co-ordination centre or NCC which was officially opened today.

Minister Bheki Cele says its important for police to respond quickly and bring volatile incidents under control. 

We spoke to public safety expert, Professor Jacob Mofokeng.
