JOHANNESBURG - Pope Francis died a day after Easter – celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.
Historian and Pan African Specialist, Dr Vashna Jagarnath, says his papacy reflected a resurrection of justice and humility.
Additionally she says the Pope refused the version of Catholicism that ingratiates itself with the powerful while abandoning the poor.
